Just Throw A Jacket Over It

Oh what a fickle time of year it is. This morning when heading off to work, I found myself in desperate need of a jacket, and when I came home it was so warm out I forget I had even brought one (and left it at work, of course). Unless you are going to embrace the cold weather with open arms, you’re going to want to stock up on your lightweight winter wear.

I found this amazing jacket at Anthropologie that I wanted to share with everyone. The material is super soft (it feels like you’re wearing a sweatshirt!), but still manages to elevate any look. Even a pair of jeans and a basic t-shirt all of a sudden looks like a million bucks. This style ran large on me and I did have to size down one size, so keep that in mind while you’re ordering.

If this jacket isn’t quite what you’re looking for to transition into fall, here are some styles that I love for both men and women!

I’m a man of constant change. My style feels like it changes almost as often as I change my underwear. If you’re feeling the same way that I am, then this list is for you. These sweaters are personally approved to get you through the winter without sacrificing an inch of style.

Handbags That Won’t Break The Bank

Alright so I’ll admit it. I’m a sucker for luxury and couture (although that should be no surprise to you). However, my wallet doesn’t always allow for me to splurge as much as I wish I could. That always leaves me to a dilemma about how I’m going to crave my addiction without emptying my bank account. If you find the same problem happening to you, I’ve come up with a list of some of my favorite bags at prices that you can afford and still be fashionably chic. Check them out after the jump!

The Destroyed Boyfriend Jean

If you’ve left your home at all in the past 6 months, you’ll have noticed a consistency in every store you’ve walked into; the boyfriend jean. This super low rise slouchy fit jean has been a staple of the fashion community all spring and summer. My personal favorite take on the jean is a super destroyed option, which has been seen on pretty much every fashion a-lister across the coast. The best part is that it’s super easy to dress. Make it casual with a slouchy t-shirt and sandals, or dress it up with a blazer and a pair of stilettos. It’s all up to you! If you’re new to the trend, or are just looking for some new options to upgrade too, I’ve chosen a couple of my current favorites that are available to buy now. Check them all out after the cut!

A Night Out In Fringe

Trends are always coming and going. That’s the thing that makes the fashion world go round. It’s what keeps stores open and keeps people buying. What’s cool this month? Is it going to be popular next month? While I will always encourage you to keep an eye open on what people are wearing around you, never let that dictate what you HAVE to be wearing at the moment. This leads me to a trend that we started seeing late last year. Fringe popped up on runway after runway, and shortly after we were immediately seeing it on the streets. Handbags were trimmed with fine strips of leather, and skirts all of a sudden started shaking with every step. It popped up in every store you walked into. You couldn’t escape it!

Well now that it’s a season later, should we still be wearing it or should we have stepped into the latest trend? You know, I don’t think so. The wonderful thing about fashion is the ability to take trends from years past and make them relevant again. So with this I challenged myself to keep the fringe trend going and make it relevant for the time of the year.

The Zara fringe skirt in black is super fun and chic at the same time. I paired it with a cropped tank top to draw your attention downward and keep the fringes moving while you walk. A bright pop of red in the blazer will make you pop and all eyes will be on you. Simple black accessories and a gold choker complete the look! Make sure you check out the links below to shop the look.
